If it was there last year, it must go somewhere else this year. Try going as far as putting decorations in different rooms than last year. Also, don't be afraid to move around your usual pictures and furniture to accommodate Christmas! The magical end product will be worth it.

Branch Out

Yes! Use all of the branches! If you got your Christmas tree from the mountains or had to cut off a few boughs to fit your store-bought tree in the stand, you have plenty to go around. Add in some red berries, and you're set!

Another meaning to "branching out" is, don't limit yourself to a red and green Christmas! Purples, blues, oranges, yellows, they can all fit into your festive Christmas glow. I guarantee if you Google "blue Christmas decoration ideas,"; you'll see what I mean. (I'm not so sure about the pink Christmas decor)...

You saw it on Pinterest. It's this amazing entry way scene with a cool chest, tree boughs, berries, lights, and a chalkboard message singing Christmas carols to every visitor. But you don't have the furniture for it, and it's Christmas time! Of course, you can't afford to buy furniture!
